THE GALA

The Gala (2017), stage reading of theatrical script

Knockdown Center, Queens, NY

The Gala is a theatrical script about an elaborate annual fundraising soirée at an artists colony in Northern Michigan led by a megalomaniacal performance artist, and the eco-terrorist cell of ex-artists living in the woods nearby plotting to destroy it. This stage reading’s cast included Erin Prinz Schwartz, Darcie Wilder, Michael Welsh, Azikiwe Mohammed, James Allister Sprang, Lorelei Ramirez, Amy Zimmer, Brian Droitcour, Eric Allan Schwartau, and Mike Pepi. I’m currently creating a novelization of The Gala.
